Serves 4 - 6


12 Ripe Apples, Try mixing different kinds;
McIntosh, Granny, & or Delicious.
2 Cups Water
1 tsp. Cinnamon
½ tsp. Barley Malt Sweetener, optional
¼ Cup Raisins


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Wash and core all of the apples.  Do not peel.
The skins add necessary fiber.
Dice into bite-sized pieces.
Spread the apples in a baking pan.
Pour water in pan, about 1 inch high.
Sprinkle barley malt and cinnamon.  
Mix into the water and apples.
Bake for 30 minutes, until soft and tender
when fork tested.
Mash the apples to desired smoothness.
Add raisins and mix well.
Serve warm with
