BAKED VEGGIE BURGERS

Ingredients:

1 Cup Cooked Soy Beans
¼ Cup Green Pepper, Chopped
½ Small Onion, Chopped
1 Clove Garlic, Chopped
1 Stalk Celery, Chopped
¼ Cup Pure Tomato Puree or Tomato Sauce
1 tsp. Tamari Soy Sauce
Pure Vegetable Oil For Skillet

Whole Wheat Buns
Whole Wheat Bread Crumbs (to bind mixture together)

Directions:

Mash soy beans well or blenderize them.
Add all the remaining ingredients and enough bread
crumbs to bind the mixture together, in a large bowl.
Form into patties, and brown them in oil on both sides.
Serve on Whole Wheat buns with fresh lettuce and tomato,
or with a pure sugar-free, salt-free ketchup.
Variation:  For a Cheesy burger, add some
Vegan Mozzarella Cheese, or sliced Vegan American  or
Cheddar Cheese on top.
