12-15 Swirls, Depending on the Size


NOTE:  Any of our yeast recipes may be used to make
bread stick swirls.  
1 Loaf yields about 12-15,  depending on their size.
Use any of our Bread Recipes like:
Whole Wheat Bread.


Prepare the dough as directed for bread.
Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
After kneading, form the Bread Stick Swirls by shaping
dough into balls 2 inches in diameter.  
Roll between hands to form a rope
about ½ inch in diameter.
Place one end on greased cookie sheet and wrap the
rope around to form a coil.
Cut excess and press end in the center.
Place on cookie greased cookie sheet.  
Cover and let rise until double in size.
Bake for 15-25 minutes, again depending
on size of the bread stick swirls.
If you want to add seeds, brush with melted
Non-Hydrogenated Margarine 10 minutes before done,
and sprinkle with either poppy seeds or sesame seeds.
