Makes 3 - 4 Cups


4 Tbsp. Whole Wheat Flour
3 Tbsp.
Non-Hydrogenated Margarine
1 Small Onion
½ tsp. Carob Syrup or Barley Malt Syrup
1½ tsp. Tamari Soy Sauce
3 Cups Stock, Use Vegetable Broth
or Miso Soy Seasoning.


Finely chop the onion.
Slowly add the flour to the saucepan and stir.  
Add remaining ingredients and stir.
Simmer for 10 minutes.
