FALAFEL
             Serves 4,  Makes 8 Patties

Ingredients:

¾ Cup Garbanzo Beans, Dry
2 tsp. Granulated Garlic
2 tsp. Onion Powder
1 tsp. Parsley
1 tsp. Tamari Soy Sauce
Sesame Oil or Sunflower Oil for Skillet

Directions:

Soak chick peas overnight, and boil in their own liquid for
10-20 minutes until tender, or pressure cook
them for 1 hour.
Mash beans, and mix with remaining ingredients.
Form into patties or balls.
Fry in sesame or sunflower oil until brown and crisp.
Serve with fresh lettuce and tomato, and sesame tahini.
NOTE:  
Falafel makes excellent sandwiches and hor d’oeuvres.
