Makes 3 Dozen


2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour
2 tsp. Baking Powder
1 Cup Pure, unsalted
Peanut Butter
1 Cup Carob Syrup
½ Cup
Non-Hydrogenated Margarine, melted
½ tsp. Pure Vanilla Extract
Oil for Cookie sheets


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Oil 2 cookie sheets.
Blend the peanut butter, margarine, carob syrup and
vanilla together in a large bowl.
Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
Drop by Tablespoon onto the cookie sheets, and flatten
by making a criss-cross design across the top with a
fork, dipped in oil or water.
Bake for 15 minutes, until lightly browned.
Variation: Substitute Tahini Butter
for the Peanut Butter.
