POUND CAKE
Ingredients:

2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour
1 Cup
Non-Hydrogenated Margarine
1 Cup Carob Syrup
Egg Replacer To Equal 4 Eggs
1 tsp. Baking Powder
½ tsp. Pure Vanilla Extract
Margarine for Pan

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  
Grease a loaf pan (9x5x2).
Melt the margarine and blend with the syrup.
Beat in the Egg Replacer.  Add remaining ingredients
and beat well.
Pour the batter into the pan, and bake for 60 minutes.
Variation:
Add 1 Tbsp. grated lemon rind.
Top with
Lemon Icing.
Substitute whole rye flour for the whole-wheat flour.
